Care Guide

Keep your bamboo fresher for longer with these simple care tips and tricks.

Wash before use

We recommend washing our sheets before use to ensure the perfect fit and feel. Please note our sheets may fit larger at first as we have allowed extra fabric for shrinkage.

Towels need to be washed before use to ensure proper absorption. Use a delicate wash and do not spin towels on high, or this may cause loops to knot.

Washing

Wash your items in cold water, no hotter than 30 degrees Celsius.

Don’t wash your bedding and towels with other items. Washing the sheets with rough fabrics can cause pilling or damage. Towels can snag or pull.

Line or tumble dry

BEDDING

Line dry or tumble dry on a delicate setting. Fold them gently and loosely when putting them in (this will help to reduce wrinkles) and take them out as soon as the cycle has ended.

TOWELS

You can line dry or tumble dry bamboo towels. For the best results, we recommend hanging them out first and then finishing them in the dryer. This restores their plush, fluffy texture without over-drying the fabric.

Delicate detergent

Never use any products that contain bleaching agents, optical brighteners or fabric softeners. These products can break down the composition of the bamboo fabric or impact the colour and they won’t last as long. Fabric softeners can create a coating on the fabric or yarn, affecting the performance and feeling of the product.

We think a delicate wash works best (like a wool wash). A personal fave of ours is the Earth Choice Wool & Delicates Wash – it has a great eucalyptus base.

Stain Removal

Try mixing bicarb and vinegar in with your wash cycle, or a chlorine-free stain remover. Allowing some extra time by adding a soak into your cycle will let these agents do their magic.
